Through The Lens Thursday is a one-year photography project (now in its second year), where every week, my project partner, Greta of GFunkified and I, will post a picture (or pictures) we have taken based on a prompt. Our hope is that together, we can teach and learn from each other, stay accountable to our goal of improving our skills, and hopefully, be taking some gorgeous photographs.
This week’s prompt is In My Cup.
Am I the only one who leaves the teabag in the cup?
I like it strong.
I also forgot it was Thursday, and took this photo at night for a change. (Its a pretty terrible picture, I should take pictures when there is light)
I don’t know who reads these photo posts anymore since I am closing comments every week. I know, I am going to tell you that I’m in a blogging funk, which I am. I haven’t read anyone’s blogs for a while, and for that, I am sorry. But blogging in general was stressing me out so I cut thing down.
But I have many stories in my head, which I just need to sit down with and write. I am working a lot, which I’m enjoying (Book tours! Looking for great content for BonBon Break, where I’m an editor now). I’m spending lots of time with my children, who are growing like weeds.
And I’m drinking cup after cup of strong tea.
Figuring out my stories in my head.
Next week’s prompt is Box.
For the full list of prompts, check out my Through The Lens Thursday page. If you’d like to join Greta and I, but not necessarily blog your picture, join our Flickr group, where we upload our photos, and give comments, or helpful critique on each other’s photographs.
