Mantra Monday: Oh, The Places You’ll Go!

posted in: Giveaway, Life, Mantra Monday 35 comments

Since I was introduced to MantraBand last year by Galit, I have been in deep love. I bought myself five, and plan to gift more to friends and family. Their message of living life with positivity, mindfulness and optimism is exactly what I need, and a message I want to spread.

With that, I’m so happy to announce that I am collaborating with MantraBand for a monthly series, Mantra Monday!

Every second Monday of the month from now until March (and maybe a few more months), I will choose a mantra I want to hold to for the month, and invite you to share YOUR mantra (of the day/ week/ month) with me, and by doing so, be eligible to enter yourself for a giveaway for one MantraBand (inscribed with the mantra of month)!

Isn’t that great? I just love the idea of a monthly mantra to remind and ground us, at times when we need it most. Whether or not you do resolutions, or choose a word of the year to frame your intentions and goals, having a mantra, a positive affirmation, can only help you towards getting you where you want to be.

Which is why this month, I chose this mantra as mine to hold onto – Oh, The Places You’ll Go!

I want to get to the weight I am most comfortable with.

I want my writing to hit greater heights.

I want to be more present with my family.

The place I want to go, is a place in my life where I feel comfortable with my body, my (writing) passion, and my loved ones. One step, and one day at a time. Oh, the places I’ll go indeed.

Now, onto the giveaway! MantraBand has generously agreed to sponsor two Mantrabands – two of you lucky people will get one Oh, The Places You Go! band. Enter below from January 12 to 16, 2015. USA and Canada only.

I’ve seen these on here before and I have to say, I love them. Even though I have a few other mantra-like baubles, these are a little dressier. I feel like they’re almost my little secret if I wear them to dinner or out with friends. My manta this week is “survive!” That’s it.

I LOVE these. I have no idea how I missed it when you and Galit were discussing them. I think my mantra this month would be “You CAN do it”. I feel like I’ve already been faced with a lot of things trying to stop me, and that’s what I need to focus on, the keep on keepin’ on.

I really like the idea of a monthly mantra! Much more than just picking One Word for the entire year – because I’d probably forget my one word by May. This seems a great way to keep in touch with yourself and motivate towards your goals.
