Through The Lens Thursday: Delicious

posted in: Photography, Through The Lens Thursday 31 comments

Through The Lens Thursday is a one-year photography project (now in its second year), where every week, my project partner, Greta of GFunkified and I, will post a picture (or pictures) we have taken based on a prompt. Our hope is that together, we can teach and learn from each other, stay accountable to our goal of improving our skills, and hopefully, be taking some gorgeous photographs.

A photography project

 This week’s prompt is Delicious.

TTLT - Delicious

Classic white sandwich bread. It defies all the New-Year-I-Must-Eat-Well-And-Not-Eat-All-The-Carbs-And-Junk resolutions.

And it was delicious.

It was also lovingly made (with two children chattering excitedly in the background) using this recipe. Lovingly because I love homemade bread and the smell. The Smell! I could bathe in the smell of freshly baked bread. I could spray it all over me like a perfume. Eau de Pain

I’m sorry, Whole30 dieters.

Next week’s prompt is Sign.

For the full list of prompts, check out my Through The Lens Thursday page. If you’d like to join Greta and I, but not necessarily blog your picture, join our Flickr group, where we upload our photos, and give comments, or helpful critique on each other’s photographs.

I could live on bread and cheese if my training would allow it. I seriously think I can smell that bread from here…I wish I could eat it too. I may have to get a bread maker. Delicious.

With all the exercise you do, I have no doubt you can scarf a whole loaf down with no guilt! (not even sarcastic)

I love baking bread and the smell, I must try your recipe, it certainly does look delicious! I could never go on a carb free diet, I try to eat less carbs and move a little more.

That looks absolutely yummy. I can only imagine how it smells. Bread smells remind me of when I lived in Manila and there was a bakery on my block – where we would go every morning to buy baked goodies! Also, my uncle used to own a bakery!

Thanks for bringing back some good memories for me!

Nothing is as delicious as home made bread! I can remember making it with grandma, so it brings back warm and wonderful memories. A lovely shot.
this was a hard shoot this week because with my cold, my taste buds (and it appears my focus) were off. nothing tastes good when you have a cold – that’s just unfair.

Fresh baked bread is how it should be! Even that packaged crap that says “whole wheat” is often full of crap. Kudos to you!
I want to bathe in it too.

Can a loaf of bread be gorgeous? And fancy? Yes, yes it can. Lovely picture….of bread. ๐Ÿ˜€ But seriously, it looks like it could be in a bakery ad or something. I bet it WAS delicious.

I’m making it tomorrow for my birthday since I’m making a lobster cobb salad for dinner per my request, lol. ๐Ÿ™‚ Then it’s mango cake! I will let you know how it is and I can’t wait! It’s not hard to make which is the best part, it’s not like it takes 5 hours to rise!
