There are a bunch of things in my head right now that are too many characters for Twitter, but not enough for a real blog post. So lucky you, you get to read what’s on my mind!
My little one, my baby boy, he’s going to play school five days a week now, for half days. If you follow me Facebook and Instagram, you will know this. You will know that the little guy was SO excited. He finally gets to carry his own bag (Thomas the Train, if you must know), and leave in the morning with his big brother.
A few friends were talking about cookies on Facebook a couple of hours ago, and of course, I felt the urge to bake something. I have been on a muffin mania recently, so I scrolled through my Pinterest boards and found this recipe for Snickerdoodle Muffins. However, I realized once I’d started that I did not have all the ingredients. And instead of the usual method of muffin making (pouring wet ingredients into dry ingredients, then hand mix), I used the KitchenAid. I also did not roll the batter in sugar, I merely sprinkled it on top of each muffin. The result? A really yummy baked treat that had the texture of a cupcake. Except I can’t call it that because, no frosting. So I present to you – the Snickerdoodle Mini Cake (hey, I could write an entire post with the recipe!).
I’m going to my first yoga class in over 3 years tomorrow. I’m excited about trying out my new yoga mat. Let’s hope I don’t embarrass myself.
My hair looks like crap. It’s at a stage where it’s neither long nor short. It’s frizzy and it’s streaked with white hair. I’m half-tempted to ask the Internet whether I should grow my hair out, and get a haircut.
I love a good hashtag here and there, but the overdoing of hashtags on Instagram is driving me insane. Do you REALLY need 30 hashtags? Why?
Tell me one random thing about you!
I’d love for you to check out my Greta’s blog auction to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. She has 45 items up for bidding from September 30 to October 7, and all the information is on her Facebook page and blog. There are amazing items like jewelry, gift certificates, handmade items. Buy something nice, and do a good thing! Thank you.
