Writing And Making Money? Sure, Where Do I Sign Up?

UPDATE: Congratulations Kathy Radigan, you’ve won the 3 month subscription to Wealthy Web Writer! Thank you everyone for entering.

This is a product review. I was give a free 3-month Platinum member subscription (worth $81) to Wealthy Web Writer for review, but all opinions are my own

I know many of us blog with no intention to make money. We write because we love to write. We write to document the all-too-quick-to-pass moments in our lives, in our children’s lives. We write because for some of us, this space is the only one we can truly call our own.

Some of us do get opportunities because of our blogs – we get freelance writing jobs, we are asked to be brand and product ambassadors, we get to travel and go on press junkets, we get to try out cars, we get coupons and discounts and free stuff for our kids and family. We get good at writing and social media and start businesses.

Some of us get these opportunities easily, others have to work a little harder. But everyone needs a little help here and there, especially when we’re aspiring writers.

This is where Wealthy Web Writer comes in. What is it, you ask? Simply put, it’s a resource you don’t want to miss. Some of the good stuff you have access to:

1) Monthly webinars and events with internet marketing and copywriting experts.
2) Step-by-step tutorials and road maps on building your web copywriting business.
3) Advice from successful web writers who are there to help you succeed, any time you need it.
4) Access to a complete library of videos, articles, tutorials and more.
5) A job board of companies looking to hire web writers.

My favorite parts of using Wealthy Web Writer are the writing tips, the many resources on SEO, social media and technical aspects of building a website. I also liked the 3-minute short video tutorials. The forum is a great place to go, if you’re seeking friendly writing advice.

And, Wealthy Web Writer and I are giving you the opportunity to experience this for yourself. Leave a comment on this post, and you’ll be eligible to win one 3-month subscription (just like the one I received). In the meantime, do check out Wealthy Web Writer for yourself!

SEO completely boggles my mind. I *just* went to self hosting and bought my own domain and all that jazz and was blessed with having a friend who’s a web designer to help me with my site. But SEO isn’t really his expertise nor is blogging so I’ve been at a loss about what to do with having lost all those pre-existing visitors and search engine traffic with the move. I’m not looking to monetize, but I am hoping to expand my reach or at the very least get back to where I was!

I have to admit I question whether I am ready to re-join the land of professional writing. I’d like to, but I am not sure if my work is ready for it just yet. That either means I am not ready or I am lacking the confidence to go forward. Perhaps a little of both. At this juncture I am working on honing my skills and learning anything I can to improve my writing and put myself in a position to consider accepting gigs again.
