This is the last month Monkey and I have together, just the two of us. We are three weeks away from welcoming Scrumplet into our little family, and I doubt we’ll be able to do much cam-whoring, just us two.
And so I scrapbooked together a few photos of us together.
Monkey, you love the camera. You love having your photo taken. You pose. You make funny faces. You hug me close. You are a total camera hogger.
I just know that you’ll love creating memories with your little brother real soon. And Mama will be right here to capture them.

Now that I have two, I love having collages of pictures of different subsets of us. Enjoy that last month together! If your experience is like mine, you will spend the first month loving the newborn, but missing the bigger boy as others take him out to give you a break, etc. These last weeks will be all the more precious.

It’s bittersweet to think of his only child-dom (I realize that’s not a word but I can’t think of anything better) coming to an end. But really, I think his interaction with the new baby is going to be one of the coolest things ever.
