Sigh… I was just thinking about that today. Everything is nice and tidy, and then Blake wakes up.

I’m thinking it’s because we have a small house, so it just LOOKS messy. Right? Tell me it is so.

Thanks Julie! The photos themselves probably aren’t as good if I don’t edit them πŸ™‚ I don’t like having to clean up art. Sigh.

  • July 13, 2011 Kim

The good thing is I don’t see any dust bunnies lingering around or crumbs collecting in corners! I was relieved to see the sippy cup, as my daughter once had a similar experience on our couch but it was pee πŸ™

If that was pee? I wouldn’t have taken a picture, I’d have cleaned it up already lol. I clean the house everyday, I have to!

  • July 13, 2011 Christi

haha! What is it about stacks of magazines that they just can’t resist? My little one loves to crawl over to the shelf, pull herself up, and throw the magazines one at time onto the floor. WHY????

Monkey does the same. He reaches up and pulls everything down one by one. He then sits down and scatters them everywhere. It’s a sport!

  • July 13, 2011 mom2kiddos

  • For the longest time I truly believed I could keep magazines alphabetized, cd’s too … then one day I bought a ton of huge leather folders and alphabetized the cd’s into them and threw away the cases (and we never played them again – hundreds of them lol)

As long as they’re all in the bookshelf and not the floor, that’s good enough for me! (though I did have them stacked according to size for a long time!)

Isn’t it amazing how much destruction such a SMALL person can cause? I don’t have a toddler in the house, but I do have a 7 pound dog. She absolutely, positively HAS to take every toy out of her box at least twice a day…. Sometimes I think just because she can!

Oh my..I want to come and clean that up. I have very bad OCD about “messes” so I don’t know if our living has ever looked like that, howver it’s bad for my kids since they make messes at school all day and then I’m like a warden at home. I feel bad for them…sort of..LOL.

  • July 14, 2011 Jen Has A Pen

    HOLY MONKEY! This is nuts.

Actually, I totally believe it. I was at work on Saturday with Jayden and Sophia (both 4). Originally they were playing with Sharpies so I bought Crayola WASHABLE (yeah right) markers for them while I was at lunch. By the time they’d left my office that night, there was marker everywhere, the blinds were broken, they’d busted a stapler, used scissors to make confetti, spilled a hole puncher (making more confetti) and dribbled drink all over the place. And… to boot, they are REALLY good kids. My mom respect shot up ten fold that day. πŸ™‚
