I think, therefore I don’t

Wedding planner.

Dress shop owner.

Freelance PR consultant.

Cupcake creator.

T-shirt retailer.

Jewelry designer.

Party planner.

Freelance writer.

All endeavors I talked passionately about.

All things I had dabbled in for fun, as a hobby.

All interests I thought about making money from.

None transpired. Not from the lack of intention.

It was a lack of turning intention into action.

In my mind, I had already failed. I talked myself out of things. I told myself it wouldn’t work.

Deep down, I was just apathetic about these ‘ambitions’. I did not want to get off the starting line.
I still think and talk about all the stuff I can do.
But I know I won’t.
This was for the prompt: Sloth, for The Red Dress Club.
